WINES

SERRA DEI TURCHI

Barolo DOCG

This wine is dedicated to our founder Paolo Colla, who started producing Barolo in 1961, in the commune of La Morra. His passion and love for Barolo gave him the courage to move here from his native town Diano d’Alba, famous for Dolcetto wine. We select the smaller bunches from the best parts of the plot.

LAZZARITO

VIGNA PREVE Barolo DOCG

Preve is the name of a small vineyard in the Lazzarito sub-zone of Serralunga d'Alba. The particular combination of soil and exposure to the sun generates a wine of great volume and energy. Its complexity and its ability to evolve and improve for a long time does not preclude elegance and pleasure in youth.

MOSCONI

Barolo DOCG

This vintage produced 556 bottles, 30 magnums. We planted Mosconi in 1998, and for a long time we used its best grapes for our Barolo Serre. The 2015 vintage shows a deep and velvety structure that is authentic to the hillside.

MONVIGLIERO

Barolo DOCG

This vintage produced 564 bottles, 30 magnums and 3 double magnums. 2016 is our first harvest in the Monvigliero cru. The particularly typical hints of vineyard reveal a great pleasure. Dominated by its delicate minerality, it is the most elegant cru in the Barolo area.

CASTELLETTO

Barolo DOCG

This Barolo comes from the Castelletto vineyard of Monforte d'Alba. It is a vineyard facing east, so the morning sun, overlooking a fresh and breezy valley. It is a wine with a tense and fascinating character, of particular depth.

FOSSATI

Barolo DOCG

This first year produced 820 bottles, 42 magnums and 2 double magnums. The position of this small plot produces a wine with particular freshness and balsamic notes. The year gave compact tannins, with typical balanced character from the village.

La Morra Barolo Docg

LA MORRA

GIANNI GAGLIARDO

Barolo Classico DOCG

Barolo Gianni Gagliardo comes from our vineyards in La Morra, with part of our grapes from Monforte d'Alba, Barolo and Serralunga. This combination of soil gives it a particularly expressive and pleasantly sophisticated character already at a young age, while giving it an excellent aging potential.

SAN PONZIO

Nebbiolo d'Alba superiore DOC

The S.Ponzio hill is located in the municipality of Monticello d'Alba, in Roero. The soil is typically sandy-calcareous but does not lack structure and therefore gives rise to a strong wine, but with a gentle soul. It is a very special wine with an unmistakable character.

DABATIE'

Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

The distinctly sandy soil of the Roero area from which it comes, characterizes it and distinguishes it from most other Langhe Nebbiolo, which usually come from the strongest soil of Barolo or Barbaresco. DaBatiè is in fact a particularly gentle and savory expression of the Nebbiolo variety.

PAULIN

Dolcetto d'Alba DOC

Dolcetto is deeply rooted in the tradition of the Langhe. Paulin aims to be a pure and clear expression of the variety. Briefly aged in steel.

FALLEGRO

Fallegro was created in 1974 as one of the first vinification of Favorita grapes. This is the Piedmontese version of Vermentino, which is however cultivated far from the sea, in a continental climate that characterizes it and makes it fresh and fragrant, ideal as an aperitif and easily combined with the food.

ARNEIS

Roero Arneis DOCG

The 2018 winter was long and with a lot of rain. This played an important role in re-esthablishing the water balance
after the heat of 2017. Spring had a slow start and only in mid-July the temperature did rise significantly.
