Vintage description

The 2014 vintage was a surprise. The season was not easy, especially due to summer rains. Despite this, the last part of the season allowed to obtain ripe grapes, even if a little less concentrated than usual. The wines are lean and elegant.


Grapes: Nebbiolo

Harvest: October

Vineyards: La Morra, Monforte, Barolo and Serralunga

Maceration: 10-19 days according to vineyard

MLF: 100%

Final blend: July 2017

Ageing: 6 months in used barriques, to follow big casks (35hl)

Duration of ageing: 33 months

Bottling: July 2017

Alcohol: 14 %

Total acidity: 5,5 g/L

Dry extract: 27,6 g/
