Langhe Favorita doc

Vintage Description

The 2017 vintage has been warm and dry. The slight vegetative advance coincided with a particularly intense spring frost that affected many parts of Europe. This was the first cause of quantity decrease. The scarcity of rainfall was the second cause. At a physiological level the plants have exploited the little rain at the beginning of September to the fullest, and therefore berries on average smaller and more concentrated than usual have well matured.

Fallegro 2017 is particularly rich and tasty. In this vintage its classic fresh and fragrant character is complemented by an unusual density, result of the concentration of the berries in a warm and dry vintage.
